As I was starting this blog, I was wondering what I was going to talk about. Crafts, yes but which one? I have so many I've done.. I decided to go store shopping for my site and see what I could find. I found all kinds of neat books, and yes I am a book worm of sorts. In looking at the different books I found some that relate to the crafts I do. I lost count way back years ago as to how many different crafts I've done. Growing up money was tight and not alot of extra to spend. My mom being a bit crafty herself came up with supplies every year to make a craft project for Christmas gifts. One year it was tiled hot pads with marble feet, another year was string art, the project ideas seemed endless. Over the years it has stuck with me. Thanks Mom!! I still do crafty projects only now they are more complicated then when I was a kid. At present I am into stain glass. No, not the "expensive" kind, mine is what I call simulated stain glass. Over the years I've learned alot of new crafts and most of them by self teaching. I love to mix up my patterns and intergrade them with each other when ever I can or whenever the imagination kicks in. I find while making one pattern I end up coming up with new ideas off that one pattern I'm workin on. Imagination at its best! I love to share my craft ideas so if anyone has questions or ideas or maybe just a resourse let me know. |
