Advertising Your Crafts

Advertising for us crafters can sometimes involve alot of money spent out and not alot if any in return. I have found through the years a few ways to advertise without alot of money spent. Take my local bank for instance of which I'm a member. I get to put my crafts in the bank for a month of FREE advertising. Granted not all banks work this way, but if you do buisness with a local bank, it sure deosn't hurt to ask if they do any special things for their customers.Craft fairs is another inexpensive way to advertise. Local craft fairs usually don't charge much per table to set up your own little corner. Here in my area we even have a huge building thats open all summer long for flea market people. In checking into the price of tables/space per day I found this particular flea market only charged $25.00 for two days. Now thats not bad for around here and they do get lots of people there. Some local VFW halls have times where they have craft fairs and the table prices are usually pretty reasonable. A shopping mall is another good place to look into for setting up a table. Just contact the stores at the mall to see who to get in touch with to find out information about setting up your own tables. Holiday time is especially a great time for this as thats when you have your biggest crowds. Yard sales is yet another way. Everyone including me loves to go yard saling, what better way to advertise for free. Schools is yet another avenue. Here in my town this year they had a craft fair at the high school. Your school principal/headmaster could give you the information on who to contact or your local school board. These are just a few ways to advertise inexpensively and get your crafts noticed without spending your life savings to do it.
