Hello all, I'm taking a break from house remodling destruction and getting things ready to tackle my Christmas projects. Early you say! Yes it is a bit early, but with adults and kids to get gifts for I have to start early to get everything done. In the process of remodling I came up with another nifty idea for storage. Hubby works for an AC company so works in all the hannaford stores from here to Mass. When they are working in a store that is taking out old stuff and putting in new he manages to confiscate with permission of course some "old good" stuff. A rolling bread try that holds about 10 big trays was being thrown out so I was lucky to inherit it. I was putting craft stuff together and decided that this tray could be pretty useful. I set a board across the top to make a sturdy table top then used the trays to hold rolls of wallpaper, my plastic boxes I decorate for what ever occassion or use (these can be seen on my craft site at www.geocities.com/onelovnhart) and there was enough room in the bottom to set a wooden produce box in loaded with my gourds. Everything in one spot where I can find it easily, its one more step in the process of making our furnace room craft friendly without everything scattered about. Once our room is done I'll post a picture to show what we did to give all you crafters out there some ideas. I've also done some wall papering in this remodling project, which didn't cost much at all. Just the price of some wallpaper paste and a brush. The wall paper was some I picked up for pennies at a lawn sale and some that was given to me for crafts. Next week I plan on adding in some free patterns so be sure to come back and check them out. |
