Theses are my girls, Lynn-Ann (on left)and Samantha-Jean. Both are graduated from high school, Sam is now a certified vet assistent, and Lynn will be going to college majoring in Business. I gotta say I'm really proud of my girls as they've come a long way.I had gone shopping the other day with Lynn and in the process of picking up the needful things, dear daughter spotted hot bright pink duct tape! I ended up getting it not knowing what Lynn was going to do with it. Later on in the day as Lynn and I sat talking she set to work with her hot pink duct tape and made a wallet! Yes a wallet. I watched as she put it together, which only took her bout a half hour, thinking to myself how ingenious can one get. She even made a few slots to hold her credit cards. I stopped over to her new apt yesterday and saw she was really using her new handmade wallet, I had to laugh. When Lynn gets bored thats when she seems to be the most creative, not to be out done by her sister, Samantha has added her craftyness to the mix. Sam was in a 4wheeler accident in July so had been laid up all summer long, not being able to do much hopping along on crutches, again boredom produces creativity with my girls. Sam has gotten herself into woodburning and does an excellent job. I had stopped by to visit her and my grandson wed and was given a couple wood burned projects she had done. Sam has done some crafts herself over the years but her nich seems to be with wood burning, her abil

ity to do such detailed work amazed me, and of course I encouraged her to keep up with the wood burning. So these days when I go on my scrap wood hunts I now get extra pieces to take up to Sam to keep her busy. I'm in hopes of both of us having enough extra stuff done up (aside from christmas gifts) to have a fun crafty yard sale. Christmas is just around the corner, and handcrafts always make the best gifts.
