Here we are with 249 other spaces for the first annual Ultimate Yardsale which took place at Stone Hedge in Gray Maine. There were lots of tables with lots of "stuff" and a few other tables besides myself with handcrafts. This I must say was one of the best places to sell handcrafts..I took along all my wood crafts, stainglass, gourds, and boxes I had stainglassed as well, some of which had jewerly sets in them I had made. Hubby even took along a bale of our timothey clover hay for people to see before they bought any. All in all we had a great day, we sold all our hay we had available and I did very well too, with my handcrafts. This will definately be one yardsale I'll be at every year. I did so well my youngest daughter is on the look out for other "big yardsale events" for me to get into, and plans on doing up some of her own creative projects and adding them into the mix. Its always amazed me, some of the creative ideas my girls come up with. The other nite my youngest, Lynn-Ann was over for a visit and almost immediately hit my beading drawer. The next thing I know she has my lashing wire that I use for some of my projects, and is twisting it around our broom handle and a pencil (to get the size twist she wants). After finishing my wood project I was working on I checked out Lynnies finished project..This was pretty ingenious using beads and wire to make a creation. As I got studing this I realized its not much different then what we see coming out in the garden dept. at walmart, only alot more inexpensive. In the chair is my daughter's cat Shadow..we could'nt leave her out.!!
